Signalong
We have been learning Signalong to help us communicate. Signalong is a communication aid which means that we must use a sign as well as speech.
There are three golden rules when we sign:
1. We must always speak when we sign.
2. We sign in our "Signing Window" in front of us.
3. We use the correct hand shapes.
Mrs Robbins has taught us five signs so far, which we can use with either English or Welsh words:
Bore da - Good morning
Prynhawn da - Good afternoon
Shwmae - Hello
Os gwelwch yn dda - Please
Diolch - Thank you
